GTI lists to exclude telemetry saturation from XIS data

We have released GTI (Good Time Interval)
files to exclude telemetry saturation from XIS data.
Gzipped tar files are available for download, containing 12 files.
gti05.tar.gz is utilizable
for all sff data obtained in 2005
(from 2005/08/11 (E0102-72) to 2005/12/30 (CENCL_Offset2)).
gti06.tar.gz is utilizable
for sff data obtained in 2006/01/04 (CH_Cyg) - 2006/06/29 (TYCHO_SNR_HXD_BKGD),
which will be renewed periodically.
The GTI files are provided for each unit of XIS and each edit mode (2x2, 3x3, and 5x5). Timing mode is not supported.
Usage
Read event file with XSELECT.
(For example, when you analyse XIS0 3x3 data,)
Input
xsel:SUZAKU-XIS0-STANDARD > filter time file gti_xis0_3x3.txt
and the time when telemetry saturation occured will be excluded.
使い方
tar file を解凍すると、センサー、モード毎に用意された
12個のファイルが出てきます。
XSELECT で イベントファイルを読み込み、
対応するGTIファイルを指定します。
(例えば XIS0, 3x3 mode のとき)
xsel:SUZAKU-XIS0-STANDARD > filter time file gti_xis0_3x3.txt
とすれば、saturation している時間が除外されます。
2006年分については定期的に更新していく予定です。
